I became a Christian just after Concieved in Fire, and someone told me to try LS out. But I also picked up This is Solid State Vol 3. I had seen the sticker on Immune that said "contains members of LS" but hadn't picked it up yet. Then I listened to Still As You on the SS vol 3 cd and was blown away. The very next day, I went back and picked up Immune and was hooked. It wasn't till a couple years later that I saw This is my Blood in a random record store and got it.
Still As You is still my favorite, though it's just too short! I have to hit repeat like two or three times.
Oh yes, TISS3 is awesome! That is one of the best compilation CDs ever. Still As You, Sweet Wound Sour, Of Light And Shade, Bloodwork, The Icarus Complex, The Narrowing List, and Burn Me To The Ground, what a list songs. Brings back some good memories.

It's funny, I hear a lot of people say that. They got the album and forgot about it for a couple years, then tried it again and were like, how did I not know how much I loved this?. I kinda did too, I got Immune and loved it for like a year or two, but then sorta forgot about it until I saw This is My Blood in a random record store and got it. Then I was like, oh yeah, SE is frickin awesome! How could I have forgotten? I think that SE truly was ahead of it's time. But it seems time has finally caught up, I think a lot of new fans will be flooding this board after Dead Alive is released.
I think your right on the new fans floodin' the boards here, notice just in anticipation of the album, SE's myspace has like a thousand new friends after the demos came out. Personally I got Immune cuz it had a sticker on it sayin 'feat. ex living sacrifice members'. Got it, thot it was a little too hard (I had just started listening to LS) wierd I know, but I loved it after a bit. Got FTI at the Joplin, MO show in August 07 and (they only had like 30 left I think until it was gone...so i snatched it up) then I ordered this is my blood in january and got the last copy the retailer had. I really like TIMB but the recording is a little off for me. maybe remaster it sometime????
